For Easy Removal of Organic and Inorganic Particles
Use to eliminate or reduce various organic and inorganic particles such as below, by coagulating and dropping them to the pool floor, for easy vacuuming. Results vary on pool conditions:
- Metals
- Cyanuric Acid
- Calcium
- Dead Algae
- Sodium Bromide and biguanides
- Salt Content
Clean filter thoroughly after use (see “directions for use”).Use before adding a PoolRx unit or booster to the body of water.
Directions for Use:
Do not swim or agitate the water during this process.
Read the entire label and use it in accordance with precautionary statements and directions for use. User assumes all responsibility for safety and use not in accordance with precautionary statements and directions for use.
Before adding product to the pool:
- Use before adding a PoolRx unit or booster to the body of water.
- Clean the filter.
- Reduce the pH to 6.8 to 7.2.
Note: if the pool already has a PoolRx unit, remove the unit to avoid damaging it. See “Post-Use” for when to add the unit back in the pool.
How to add this product to your pool:
- Turn off the pump.
- Add 1 lb. of PoolRx Granular Floc per 5,000 gallons of water.
- Spread the product evenly over the entire surface of the pool.
- Allow at least 12 hours for the debris to drop to the pool floor.
- Slowly vacuum all the settled debris, and avoid stirring it up. Sand Filter: vacuum to waste. Other Filters: check filter pressure and ensure the filter can accept more debris. Otherwise stop vacuuming and clean the filter again. Once done, it is very important to clean the filter thoroughly to avoid damage.
- Resume normal filtration.
- Check and balance pool chemistry including the pH level, if needed.
- Add the PoolRx unit and/or booster by following the “directions for use”.
